We haven't been here in over 20 years but I appreciated how this place remained the same. We had thr calamari fritti and linguini alla vongole. The pasta was cooked to perfection (Al dente). They have an extensive wine list too to pair the wonderful food. Service was good.

I LOVE this place! Expensive restaurant, but with the quality portions and the ambiance you're given, it gives the experience oh-so worth it. I have been here several times both with my partner and my family (along with my dogs), and service each time has been lovely and accommodating. The seafood pasta (not pictured) was extremely delicious and their pasta selection is top tier compared to other restaurants I have been to around the waterfront area. If you're looking for a nice warm ambient place to have a date or drink wine with friends-- this is it.

My husband and I are in Washington DC with friends. We decided to spend the day exploring Alexandria and asked our concierge for a recommendation. He said this is his favorite Italian restaurant in the world! We ordered : Risotto Alla Pescatora - generous portion with a lot of seafood, but this was our least favorite dish. Penne Alla Arrabbiata - our friend said it was excellent with the perfect amount of heat Agnolotti Alla Fiorentina - homemade ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta The special of the day: Linguini with shrimp, clams, and pancetta - this dish was amazing! Truffle French fries - so good!! Service was excellent!

Excellent Italian food! I'm from out of town but visit the area for work a couple times a year and am so glad the boss takes us here every time. Excellent pasta, appetizers and the Caesar salad is on point every time. And they've got many specials to choose from every time. Always a great meal and experience all around!

Food is good with conservative portions. I ordered the blue point oysters and the lobster pasta. Very taste and fresh. Also had champagne, which was nice and bubbly. The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Came to check on us quit often to make everything was okay. Ambiance felt like an old Irish tavern. Dark and a little crowded. There is seating outside which you would prefer if the weather allows. It was raining that day.

Made reservations at Landini Brothers on 10/2/23 as a treat to cheer up a good friend who lost his father recently. We arrived early for our 2:30pm lunch reservation and we able to get a table in the shade on their beautiful patio. We were greeted promptly and given bread and from what I was told by my friend the butter was absolutely delicious. No bread plates provided. We proceeded to order a bottle of Rose Prosecco which was a quite nice at a price of $48. We ordered the asparagus appetizer and the goose liver pate as starters, both were delicious and a nice portion for the price point, only downside that no side plates were provided so we could share, we ended up just switching plates with one another 1/2 way through: My friend ordered the Seafood Risotto, and I must admit, at the $19.95 price point it was an amazing portion. Chock full of seafood and smelled absolutely amazing. He finished every last bite and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the dish. I ordered the Lobster and Crab salad special, it was delicious, but the perceived value for my dining dollar, wasn't there for me, I don't mind paying the $44.95 price, as long as it is reflected in the plate itself. Again, I enjoyed it, but I could see some folks not being so kind with the pricing vs the dish itself. Server was on top of wine service and our glasses were never empty. On to dessert, we decided to share the key lime pie and I ordered a cappuccino and he ordered a regular coffee, the pie was one of the best I have had, it was perfect! The downside was that the coffees arrived when we were almost finished with the dessert. The server was sure to apologize, which went along way with us. It was a pleasant afternoon lunch, the few missteps didn't deter this from being a 5 star dining experience, we look forward to coming back.

Date night. Boyfriend made the plans. And this might have been his best made reservations yet! It's been a month and I can't stop thinking about this dish. I'm a such seafood fan. I generally like it raw and on some ice in one of those fancy towers if I'm lucky! But the Linguine alle Pescatora? I'm such a fan of mixing it all together with some amazing noodles and a sauce that wasn't too heavy or overpowering, but just enough to coat the mussels and clams and calamari. I couldn't finish it that night and I could not wait until I could have it for leftovers. I'm not as big of a foodie as a lot of other people but this dish made me feel like one. It also made me wonder if this is how they think about every dish they eat??! Besides my amazing dish, my date had the veal which he said was so good. I'm not a veal person so I trust his opinion. We also ordered a bottle of wine and ate every last bit of the fresh, crusty yet chewy bread they brought us. We couldn't possibly have saved room for dessert but there were a lot of tempting options! Our service was fantastic. The space is just lovely and in a great area. I cannot wait to go back!

For $27.95 the Linguine alle Pescatora is LOADED with Maine diver sea scallops, shrimp, baby clams, fresh P.E.I. mussels and squid sautéed in garlic, crushed red pepper and white wine. I finished my pasta and still had so much seafood left. I loved this delectable dish!! My husband had the Tortellini alla Panna ($21.95) which were ring shaped noodles filled with veal, sautéed in a light cream sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese. He enjoyed them and ate every bite. The wait staff was responsive and fast. No issues here! Kids friendly. Clean bathroom. And can offer a romantic feel if desired.
